This song is dedicated to all those who endured the calamities that struck our country this year, and to the brave Filipinos who fought hard and risked their own lives to save others. I know it would take a long time before the pain goes away, but because we know that something good will come out of these trials, we can still find peace. AP Photo
I've wrapped up a special holiday treat for you... the new HUE-X.
It may be the successor of EQ9 and EQONE, but it's got a lot more than a GUI makeover and a new nickname. HUE-X now comes with dynamics processing, a cool wave pulse display, and 10 faders that let you easily change sound characteristics. I've made it compatible with mono tracks as well (EQ9 and EQONE can only be used with stereo tracks). Click here to know more...

Neat stuff coming in 2010
I'm building a set of mastering plugins on top of HUE-X, and I might be able to release another one before the end of the year. I'm also thinking of making some free stuff to bless the new year. Lots of love for everyone!

I'm very pleased to announce the upcoming release of Lemonstrum 3: Acoustic Guitar Strummer this October 1, 2009. The feature set will be posted soon.
Lemonstrum 3 turns your keyboard into a trigger board, in the sense that the chord does not have to represent the key trigger (eg. you can assign chord F to key trigger C). It has 12 triggers (C-B), and comes with a complete set of power-chords assigned to each key.
You can also use your own guitar samples. It's easy to load samples directly into Lemonstrum 3 and transpose them. Listen to the audio samples below.
Creating a good VSTi guitar strummer is a balancing act between being able to play more chords and sounding realistic. During the past year of developing Lemonstrum I've come to realize that it is very hard to have both without bloating the file size (not to mention, the price). Since the idea for Lemonstrum has always been to be the go-to guitar that even starters can afford, I've always opted to sacrifice sound quality over versatility in the past 2 versions. The next one will be different.
Lemonstrum 3 will have a little weight under its belly (but not overweight), packing high-quality sampled power chords. We've spent a lot of time tuning, cleaning, and pre-mixing the samples to get them sounding good while still leaving a lot of room for the end-user to play with in the mix. Of course all the work was done with the quality and price in mind.
This new version of Lemonstrum is tentatively scheduled to be released during the first week of October 2009. Previews, audio samples, and video tutorials will come a week before the actual release.
Lemonstrum 2 Price Drop! Regular price is now only $14.95, plus get a 70% discount if you buy before September 15, 2009. That's only $4.50. Click here.
